CIVIL BAILIFF COMMISSIONER

Toledo Municipal Court

The Court is accepting resumes for the position of Civil Bailiff Commissioner.  This position plans and directs the operations of the Civil Bailiff Department and its staff in the personal service of court documents, the execution of evictions, and the enforcement of judgments through garnishment and sale of debtor property.  The successful candidate must have a strong enthusiasm for public service and a strengths –based management style.  Applicants must have demonstrated ability to work well with different work styles and a wide range of audiences.  Applicants must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.  A bachelor’s degree in business, criminal justice or related field is required.  In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a candidate may substitute seven (7) years full time supervisory experience, or a combination of education and experience. A minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience is required in public safety, public service or business.  Experience in legal or court related work is preferred.  Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and provide own motor vehicle with sufficient liability insurance.  Must be LEADS certifiable.  Starting salary $65,883.17.

TOLEDO, OHIO

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sealed Bids will be received by the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority for all labor, material, insurance, and equipment necessary for the Component 2: Reconstruction of Dock Face – Phase 1 project located at Facility One, 3518 St. Lawrence Dr., Toledo, Ohio 43605, in accordance with the approved plans and specifications, to the Port Authority at One Maritime Plaza, Toledo, Ohio 43604.

This project is funded through a U.S. Dept. of Trans. Maritime Administration (MARAD) PIDP grant and an Ohio Maritime Assistance Program grant (MAP). The engineer’s estimate for Component 2: Reconstruction of Dock Face – Phase 1, base bid is approximately $1,575,878.30 and alternate numbers 1 through 3 is approximately $725,000.00.

Sealed bids will be received at the Port Authority’s administrative offices, 1st floor reception area at One Maritime Plaza, Toledo, OH 43604, until Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 9:00 AM, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via conference call. Conference call-in information will be shared in addendum no. 1.

Por la presente, la Junta Electoral del Condado de Cuyahoga notifica a las personas que deseen votar en la Elección General del 2 de noviembre de 2021 que deben inscribirse para votar a no más tarde del 4 de octubre de 2021. Pueden inscribirse en la Junta Electoral del Condado de Cuyahoga, en la 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, que abre de lunes a viernes de 8:30 AM a 4:30 PM.

 

Formularios de inscripción de electores están disponibles en los siguientes sitios:

1.     La oficina del Secretario de Estado o cualquiera de las 88 juntas electorales de los condados.

2.     La oficina de cualquier registrador delegado del Departamento de Vehículos de Motor de Ohio.

Las personas que deseen inscribirse por correo pueden llamar, escribir o enviar un mensaje de correo electrónico a la Junta Electoral y solicitar que les envíen formularios por correo. Estos formularios deben completarse y devolverse a la Junta Electoral antes de la fecha límite indicada arriba.

 

Las personas que deseen inscribirse en línea pueden hacerlo en www.443vote.us  y hacer clic en “Inscripción de Electores” y seguir las instrucciones. Esto debe hacerse antes de la fecha límite de inscripción indicada arriba.

 

Las personas que deseen actualizar su dirección residencial en línea pueden hacerlo en el www.443vote.us, hacer un clic en “español” y luego haga un clic en “Actualizar mi dirección”. Esto también debe realizarse antes de la fecha límite indicada arriba.

 

Si una persona ya está inscrita para votar en el Estado de Ohio y desea cambiar de nombre y/o de dirección al Condado de Cuyahoga, puede hacerlo en la Junta Electoral del Condado de Cuyahoga, hasta e incluso el Día de las Elecciones. El Día de las Elecciones, usted puede informar el cambio y votar con una papeleta provisional en la oficina de la Junta Electoral o en el lugar de votación del distrito electoral en el cual está ubicada su nueva dirección electoral.

 

Usted está calificado para inscribirse para votar en Ohio si cumple con todos los siguientes requisitos:

1.     Es ciudadano de los Estados Unidos.

2.     Tendrá al menos 18 años de edad antes del o el día de la elección general.
